Hi Neapli_Hero
Most I heard from my friends that post secondary doesnot mean you will definately get 22. Some of immigration officer only gave 20 for that and some of them gave 22. I think if it more than 15 year, you should get 22 but it also depend on immigration officer as well

Here is how I filled up
elementary/pr school = 10 year (SLC)
secondary/high school = 2 year (ISc)
university/college(BSEE) = 4 year ( but it took me more than 4 year for me)
university/college(MS) = 2 year
hopefully this will help you

HEY GUYS,
Whats the maximum time for the application process?
The website says, if we do it from buffalo, it takes 2.5 years max.
But i know one guy who got it faster than the time stated.

HI sYaKuuRiolAKU_nchImb,
Nope it does not count. For instance if you have BS and AS or 2 BS, then it count other wise it would not

thanks nepali-toronto, you are rocking, i thought that would include some vocational training like CTEVT education and stuffs like that, anyway that doesnot apply to me.
to be frank i am having a hard time filling out this conjusted form, and i came across a place where i had to put down all adresses that i lived since i was 18.
since 18 i was staying in kathmandu T.C/ASCol and there were many places that i moved aroung in those 6 or 7 years, some sorakhutte and samakhusi gallies, for which the house numebr or street number or even the ward number i dont exactly remember. i only remember the area like thamel, or nayabazar
what to do??

Hi sYaKuuRiolAKU_nchImb,
For Nepal You can just put one address. But for the US you have be very careful you have match your activities with your addresses.

thanks that helps in US its very systematic, the addresses and everything but in nepal you have to show your home by google maps as you dont have a house and street number system (at least in those days).

Hi,
I have been in US for 2 yrs and I am thinking of applying for Canada Residency. I always beleived that we should go through "Simplified Application Processing". But I didn't find any Canadian Immigration office here in US that does Immigration besides Buffalo. However Buffelo office only deals with "Regual Application Process". So I am little confused here.
Should I apply at Buffalo with "Regual Application Process" ? or I can apply "Simplified Application Process" at any other Immigration office say, Detroit ?
Thanks for your help.

Da best thing to do is to look at www.cic.gc.ca and follow the links. Its just very very simple to compute whether you are eligible to apply + everything is clearly mentioned there.

harikancha i suggest you give IELTS if your native language is not english to avoid further delays they will ask you to take the exam and it will only delay your process. A complete application will speed your processing spitfire if you are applying at buffalo from US there is no simplified process but if you want to file your application in New delhi, you go through SAP and it will take 6 years
