Instead of removing the lines you are talking about, i think they should just replace the lines with something that would commemorate Birendra's family. That would be better ni haina?
I like the idea of making Shruti's daughter the queen. She would be a queen that is pure of heart, because her mom was pure at heart, because her mom's dad and family were the pure at heart!

Yeh, He was Chakrapani Chalishe, ITIHAS SIROMANI, who wrote the original version of the so called national anthem.

Nepal need a national anthem that actually applies to ALL NEPALI people. Not all Nepalis are alike. National anthem need to unite all Nepalis of all background. 1st of all, Nepali national anthem shall not have any religious content b/c in Nepal there are Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, and many more. Just cause the King and majority of the politicians are Hindus don't mean every body is Hindu and it is not appropiate to mention Hinduism in the anthem. Anthem shall not praise the King but rather a martyrs that died for Nepal.

Then Nepali flag should be changed. Why does Rana family and Shah family get a moon and a star? Why not put some thing to represent Nepali's like Khukuri.

Agree with national anthem issue but totally disagree with shruti ko chhori lai maharani banaune issu ( even though there is no way its gonna happen).
The recent uprising against monarchy actually was resuly of raja's asepase chamchaas wrong and ill intended advices to gyanendre. If shruti daughter is queen, her close advisers will again be same oligarchs who ill advised gyanendre. So I dont have problem respecting shruti's daughters (like people do like lots of india's maharajas family, and in rest of the world) but no way a queen.

Why on earth Shruti's daughter???? Just because Shuruti was beautiful and you still feel noltalgic about her??

First of all Gorakh is as evil as paras is. Listen to the interview he gave about royal slaughter

secondly if you analyze the gene flow. I see no reason in making her as the prince as she doesnt inherit anything from classical royal traits ( she has genes from gorakh and from Shruti or Aiswarya or Ratna). Instead why cant we (only if we have to ) have some one general nepali in the throne?

It is one thing to act towards a revolution, and another to talk or fuss about petty things. What Nepal needs now is guidance, and focus towards a proper plan. For instance, the policies that the new leader should be following would be a nice thing to actually discuss.

As far as it comes to changing names, what does having ROYAL in front of the Nepalese Army or not change anything at all? Its the real actions and motive with which it has been taken that should matter most to us Nepalese right now.

As far as it comes to claiming Shruti's daughter as the queen, do we want to repeat the whole idea of when Gyanendra was crowned (as a child when Tribhuwan fled to India) and Janga Bahadur ruled on his name trend once again? Moreover, I thought (correct me if I am wrong) the whole idea was to move away from monarchy towards a democratic society. (Please also note that this does not in any way hint towards my personal choice. It is the idea of people who wanted democracy that I am putting forward.)

As far as our national anthem goes, I think it symbolizes our history, and what we were, and where we came from. For a lot of us, it is a sense of identity, almost an emotional one for that matter.It should be changed only when the political situation stabilizes, and we know that it is there to stay for sure. Extreme communism through Maoists or Democracy through one of our 7 party? Ahiley ta- everything seems a little haywire??
