Thanks for the complement "whereismynepal." It didn't work out though. The job was in Richmond, VA, but "frustumanchhe" lives in some other part of (West) VA and joined the college there. So it's almost impossible for him to look for the job outside from city he lives in.

Please let me know, if anyone is in a dire need of a job and can relocate to Richmond, VA. It's not a decent job, but hey, its a recession time. Everyone is hit by this. Something is better than nothing. isn't it.

i dont know y people cant find a job in Months and Months, i am talking about united states, U feel a application, then you just stay your home smoking or drinking, then u will never find a job. Stop crying like a baby, show your efforts, go one place, not then other, Somebody just got fired or quit the job, you will get a job if you show your qualities, , if i were you i would not hire you, all employers want smart arse...not dumb who cries in public forum like baby.

I wished i had filled up application and just stayed home smoking and drinking............being a student is a different story i guess rather than holding a gc or some other visa...............crying like a baby in public forum doesnt mean one has done nothing to get a job.............anyways thanks for the complement.

I kinda agree with 8848m. Bhai frustumache, put some extra efforts on what you're doing. I don't know about your status or college requirements. If I were you, I would apply for Federal Financial Aid. If you can transfer to Richmond, there are many colleges and Universities that offer Financial Aid program.

In my case, I am a full time (40 hours/week) employee with VA State Agency. I also hold an evening and weekend job. I used to work for Texaco service station as part time job. Two months ago, the owner wanted to reduce the worker because the sales was decreasing. His family decided to work rather than employee to keep up with the recession. So I was out of my part time job for the first week. I immediately searched for another and found next week, in which they are giving me more hours than the old.

See, if you really are serious and looking for what yo want, there is no need to do a lot.

Well i am international student who wont be able to get federal financial aid........and next thing to maintain my status i will have to stay to that college for one semester after that i can transfer...........if i had a GC then it would not be a problem for me!!!!!!!!!so i should look for a job that uses my ssn but doesnt go thru the process of US passport, e-verify and stuff.
