""""she would be dying to get her hands on John Abraham, go check with your dad if he still uses toothpaste made in India, and go verify with your mom if she realized the saree she purchased from a store in Asan has an Indian tag in it.
We live "India", yet we resent Indians? What a hypocrisy, you pitiful morons need to reivisit India and get your facts straight. If you cannot do that, at least try to see past your wrongfully patriotic visions and appreciate a talented artist."""
Alright this is completely uncalled for...
Jet.. I don't hate Indians but i don't like them... what do you call them ..
Racist ??????
Can someone teach Jet what freedom of speech is ????
Get lost man

Jet, You have an attitude problem, for sure. I am not anti-Indian, I am a pro-India, and I didn't like how many of the posters responded here to the original post. But look at what you wrote: "she would be dying to get her hands on John Abraham,"--oh, yea? All sisters are so physical-contact oriented? Not my sisters. Where do you live, Jet? In some free-for-all palace or what? "go check with your dad if he still uses toothpaste made in India": and Colgate is Indian toothpaste? What a stupid remark is this? "go verify with your mom if she realized the saree she purchased from a store in Asan has an Indian tag in it. " Once more, an asinine comment. Nepali ladies wear sari of all kind, made in every country. The key thing is we are Nepali: even if we hear Indian music, wear Indian cloth and so on. There is nothing wrong in hearing their music or wearing their cloth, as we pay for that. We are free to buy any product as long as we are willing to pay for them. My basis for pro-Indianism is this: we are neighbors, we are friends, we lived next to each others for so long, sure there are some issues between us but we both realize that we share a common heritage, and more importantly, we will always gain if India prospers. But we are not friends because my sister is crazy for a touch of some nautanki actor. Get it?

Sun4u,
You had me quoting in 3/4th of the your reply, your only input was wondering if you were a racist if you happen to not like Indian. Hate and and dislike are analogous terms, if you dislike Indians just because of the fact that they are one, what do you call yourself? Buddha? I humbly ask you to get your facts straight before we start our showdown.
Pire,
Here we go again, it seems that you have sworn to bring me down. First of all, there are two types of users, the first types are the ones who write without profound analysis, who spew hatred, and consider it as an only reason to visit sajha. Second type of users are your kind, relatively erudite, and delve deeply into the issue before they print their opinions down. I have said before and I reiterate, I reply to the posters in a language they understand best. That reply was not for you, but if you think it irked you, you have debased yourself to their category.

Jet,
Keep those sister and mother comments to yourself. We know you can write with big words and precious gramatically correct sentences. So you think you're smarter than us? So you think Indians adore and love us in return? To begin with, most Indian think Nepal is a part of India. Let us start with that- how about you go teach those enthocentric neighbour that Nepali is NOT a part of India. It's you who needs to come and face the reality.

Jet, You know you have an attitude problem, and sometimes you go too far. For example, now suddenly, you think I have debased myself to somebodyelse's category. On what basis, sweetheart? Your problem is you use the word hatred/bigotry too indiscriminately. I gather you must have been educated in one of those liberal arts colleges where they think everybody who think differently than them are bigots.:)

What is your problem if he is not from Nepal ?
Do you give him money for his living or do you do any thing for them
? Then you do not have the right to say he is so and so,.... anyways that
is not the topic.
Please if you can support , then support or give him suggestion or
best be quite. Do not make noise and stop prosperity for some ones.
Nepali can be from any part of the world or from any country that
does not mean that he/she will have to support Nepal, he will support
where he was born.
Thanks

Rewire,
Back to bedlam, are we? I wish I had enough bandwidth to defend myself on this new year's day, but here, we are simply talking about a talented youth who (supposedly) is a very good singer. Instead of talking about his singing skills, most of the repliers earlier felt disgusted about the fact that he is merely an Indian. My replies were to them, in the similar fashion. I am not sure who hates who, but there sure is a sense of enmity once both kinds live across the border. However, the context here is about singing, nothing else.
Pire,
I never told you were bigot, read between the lines, talking about instituitions, bet you go to one where they do not teach metaphors. While I respect your concern, I do not see a reason why you had to react so vehemently even when I made it clear that the reply was not targeted to you. I respect difference in opinion, but since you took my reply a little too personally even when it was not addressed to you, I am bound to believe you belong to the similar category of users I mentioned earlier.
Gedagudi.
I bet you meant "loser", how about going back to your kindergarten and relearn the spellings once again before I go through the "historic files" you mentioned ( I have no idea what files are you talking about). Also, how can my reply make me a pathetic "looser", when I stand by every words I printed earlier and now "barking" right in your ears? Having said that, I sincerely ask you to stay away, I do not want to reply to you, because you just seem non-existent to me.

Jet, All I want to say is that good people address everybody in the same vein. Think about this: if a minister of Nepal goes to a police-chauki and address the detained people there using f words (because they are the people who use them frequently, and are in any way, the allegedly worst scums), will that be okey? You have to be what you are, and treat everybody in the way that represents you, not those people. It is important to have your own identity, Jet. Speaking of institution, my school was so bad that they didn't teach me anything. I had to learn everything on my own. Not everybody is lucky like you..

Jet_favre:
It sounds like you're trying to be a superstar using MICROSOFT WORD to thesaurize simpe word to a advanced word and show you're smart ass. Dude I don't have time to do that and here I am spitting some shit what I got and of course not using any programs.
KAPIL A GOOD SINGER-???? :- I am not convinced by this whole Indian Idol 4 at all. Indian Idol 3 was loaded with talented singers and any one out of top five of II-3 is way better than the all contestants of Indian Idol 4. Even Anu malik has said that indian idol 4 has been proved too weak compared to last one. Regarding Kapil, he is an average singer within other remainining contestants and I have heard him sing off key lot of times so I don't care where he's from and where his originality is. I support talent but the origniality. Saying that I concur that AMIT PAUL is more talented than PRASHANT TAMANG and I didnot support P.TAMANG and wished AMIT PAUL to win II-3. Moreover, KAPIL has not said even a word about NEPAL so no wonder he doesn't get support whereas P.Tamang always said that he loves Nepal. I would say since all the contestants of II-4 suck big time except the teenager RAJDEEP, so I would say KAPIL might probably go up to top 8. Once again, I like RAJDEEP more than KAPIL because I support true talent not the originality.
Jet_favre comments : sister, she would be dying to get her hands on John Abraham, go check with your dad if he still uses toothpaste made in India, and go verify with your mom if she realized the saree she purchased from a store in Asan has an Indian
MY ANSWER: Again, Nepalese people don't favor originality but the quality. Yeah I am sad to say but it's true that Nepalese movies suck big time and for entertainment, they prefer hindi movies because they are superior in quality and ofcourse way better than Nepalese movies. I want to give you an excellent example. Most of the Nepalese people watch hindi movies but not hindi pop songs and the reason is pretty simple. That's because nepali pop songs are pretty good and most people like them compared to nepalese movies. So they don't really listen hindi pop songs but watch hindi movies. Due to the quality factor, we use toothpaste and other stuff made from not only India but other countries as well. Ask any american that why don't they purchase FORD TAURUS and GM instead of TOYOTA or NISSAN? It's all because of quality and dependability. Now about sister getting her hands on John Abraham, I would sure like to bitchslap and dogf**k BIPASHA BASU, KATRINIA KAIF, LINDSAY LOHAN AND JHARANA BAJRACHARYA and just like that any girls would get her hands on JOHN. What's wrong with that? It's human nature. Everyone is attracted to the nice looking person? Now you got the answer.
DO I HATE INDIAN FOLKS? - No I don't but I hate those jackasses who believe that Nepal is a part of India and Gautam Buddha was born in India and think that they are the emperor of Asia. One website said that 85% indian hate China and Chinese people. That's because they are jealous and they can't do shit. They don't even have guts to fight with pakistan after those terrorists attack and how could they challenge CHINA. Personally, I don't hate indian people. Most of the indians are good, kind people and because of that nepalese people are surviving no matter if they live in texas, batimore and are in consultancies.
IN SPITE OF ALL THIS, I LOVE MY COUNTRY NEPAL THAN MYSELF. JAI NEPAL.
PEACE

Oh Wow! This is interesting!!Spewing of so-called patriotic jargon and throwing spice-laden curry on each other, sure is thoroughly enjoyable. I like Kung Pow Chicken too, and Sichuan Beef is my favorite.. Walmart is a blessing to us all, stuck in the crevasse of economic crises(?). And every time I go to a Nepalese restaurant, Chicken Vindaaloo is the first entree I order.I have not watched Indian Idol ever, though I have known of all the dramas and oomphs and aaahs over Prashant Tamang through this very platform Sajha. It was a fiasco of the grandest proportion, nevertheless, a milestone in Nepalese (?) achievement. Now. lets get dirty!!I have not watched the video link and I do not intend to watch, but everytime, I come across the thread muddled over the Pro and Anti-India sentiments, I feel obliged to give my inputs. Not that you all should take me seriously, it is just a common gesture on my part.I like you, Jet Favre. The way you put forth your opinions so suavely must be a kick to the nether region for all the haters. Kudos to that!!Now, for all the others, Kudos to your chicanery and bravado!!What was the thread about? Ah!! I hate it when I have to scroll up to see the originator's post. But I guess, it will suffice to say that we all get carried away. I want to elaborate on the issue, but I am getting late for my soiree. So, folks, have fun on the New Year's Day. DRINK RESPONSIBLY!!

look favre baje or whatever,
This is not a university thesis paper where I should put down my words In APA format or proofread it before posting it. Neither do I have time like yours so that I can keep posting long but irrevelant mess of words just to impose your impotent thoughts.I just visit sajha once in a while just to check the ongoings and happenings in and around Nepal and scribble my opinion briefly if possible. Hence, self claimed intellectuals like you are the one who should keep out of these threads. Sajha is a place to opine your thoughts; not a place to impose your ill thoughts by hook or by crook.
BTW, this is the longest set of words I have ever posted.
And sirus, I couldn't agree more with you.
PEACE!!!

The day we start appreciating a contestant based on his talent, rather than his origin, we will be paying our greatest tribute to our great ancestors who shed their blood to make our country independent. I am not into songs. But if Kapil is good, may our Nepali brothers vote for him. Otherwise, let no Nepali be stained with the accusation that he(she) favored his(her) own kind over an eligible talent. Our long term success depends on how much truthful can we be to our conscience. I am a proud Nepali--- and I want our country to be recognized as the land of wise thinkers, rather than hot headed jingoists:)

Sirus_me, Thanks for that long message, while I enjoyed how much you hated me, I also yawned at your harangue. I do not "thesaurize" my replies, actually, I do not know if that word exists. And microsoft who? I write with passion, and with minimal errors. On a different note, your concern is commendable, some good analysis eh! But you completely misconstrued me. I did not favor Kapil, I do not even know if he sings well enough, I was simply trying to restablish respect of an individual who has been mauled and derided off limits. Metaphors brother, they were metaphors, you did not have to quote me to create a mayhem. Gedagudi, How I wish you did not write back to me, we belong to two different classes (with me being at the lower end of course, LOL). I do not claim to be an intellect (refer to my previous postings). Second, what mess did I create? And what do you mean by "impotent" thought? I would have appreciated if you were more specific. However, I must agree one claim you made, it was as if you almost stole my words. I do not have enough time to visit sajha either. Do not believe me? go revisit your postings, they outnumber mine by zillions (metaphor again., pardon me). Also, since you called my postings a pure mess, I would request you to navigate them and pen down your disagreement. Let's start the crossfire, but in a more cordial way.
