This girl URMILA KHULAL also tooped in SLC among girls. But she was out of list of SLC toppers. Is this due to the conspiracy of Galaxy school?? What do you guys think?? The news is from nepalnews.com --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Three day?s after the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) results were published, it was revealed today that a girl form Siddhartha Higher Secondary School, a private school in Kavre, also scored the same marks as Subha Acharya of Katmandu?s Galaxy Public School who stood first among the girls. Urmila Khulal whose name disappeared from the list of SLC toppers published by the Exam Controller?s Office, scored 90 percent (720 marks), sharing the ?top SLC girl? position with Subha Acharya, according to Gyan Bahadur K.C, the principal of the Banepa-based school. KC told Nepalnews that the school lodged a complaint at the controller?s office today, for not declaring Urmila as another SLC topper among the girls. ?Exam controller Birendra Kumar Singh admitted the wrong on the part of his office. He cited technical error behind the missing of her name in the toppers? list,? principal KC said after registering the complaint. ?The controller has assured to declare Urmila as another topper among the girls after discussing the matter with the secretary of the Ministry of Education and Sports,? KC added. Exam controller Singh has been repeatedly caught on wrong foot as he went on records, two days before the SLC results were published, saying that the results would be delayed by two weeks. Reports had also said that he was among the officials who made a failed attempt to cutoff the private media from information about the SLC results. As usual, the SLC board topper Sameer Shreshta of Kavre High School, who scored 91.37 percent, and Galaxy?s Subha Acharya caught extensive media attention and enjoyed huge public accolade. With this revelation, Kavre district boasts two SLC toppers in this year?s SLC exams. Established 22 years ago, Siddhartha Higher Secondary School is the first private school in Kavre. The school that has a total of 800 students including 200 higher secondary students had all its 41 SLC examinees passed in first division this year. The school also boasts one SLC board topper, in 2054 B.S. Man Kumar Badal, who topped the board is an MBBS final-year student at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajganj. nepalnews.com by/mbk June 14 05

Sardar ji, I am not here to say Geeta Rana or Garima are good or bad but having gone through your views (above) I conclude that you have very poor knowledge regarding law. First of all it is not Ratna Rajya campus which teaches law rather it is Law Campus close to Ratna Rajya. Secondly, Garima becomes judge????????? people laugh if they came to know this. To be a judge, one needs to pass "lok sewa" (govt.service exam) and becomes advocate. After being advocate they need to serve in different parts of the country defending from the side of gov. After several years one can be a judge if luck favours. Hope you don't have same half knowledge regarding Geeta and Garima. Nothing personal though.

I thought Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus taught Law .My bad . Thank you for correcting me . Secondly ,I said I heard someone say (one of my classmates too ) that she is Judge or something ,maybe he was kidding which i took it for serious . I did NOT say she was a Judge .And what is there to laugh about Garima becoming a judge ?Cant she become a judge or are you saying that she is incapable of being a judge just like Ladybug claimed she was incapable of coming board first .If you say its impossbile for one to become judge after 12 years after SLC then its completely different matter .

Garima Rana, like handful of others were deservedly the board first candidate. I do not know about the under the table deal to facilitate her achievement; but one can not come in board without being capable. Indeed there could have been couple of dozen more who were equally qualified to be board 1st; it was just that she happened to be the lucky one. Regarding whether or not there was conspiracy from Galaxy School, we can only argue so much. It may be true that the education system is not as clean and pure as "ganga jaal" (heck even thats not clean or pure), but what good is accusing others without hard proof? Geeta Rana's private life is none of our business. About her public undertakings, there have been few all-too-open deeds, good and bad alike. Je hoss Reetal chai bejood nai thio (RE) hai. Yesma chai dui maat nahola ki;). -IndisGuise:)

In fact galaxy is a good school though I have very poor knoweledge about it ( I am saying from a lot of outcome of that school). But one thing really made me laugh - one of my friend in garma's batch got around distinction, he was my ex-class mate and I wonder how passed the slc ( I am not questioning you galaxian guys ).

!!She was no Michael Sexson who seduced and molested kids in his Neverland Ranch Sardarji I am quite an observer of how u r defending ur beloved school and its chief Mrs Geeta Rana. But at the same time I am bewildered to see these remarks by the same person who wants everything to be proved .. Now do u have anything to prove ur above statement? or is it just that u think 'when other people say what they heared ' are baseless ??

I think you are over protective here. I don't mean that Garima can't be a judge one day. But the question is about her knowledge, experience and contribution towards profession. I know she is/was a brilliant student and topped even on Bachelor of Law (B.L) with 59.4%. My only argument was that she is neither in government service nor have enough experience to be as judge. As I have written before to be a judge one needs to serve several years as government employee (advocate). Those who know a bit about the procedure will definitely laugh??.I again say they will laugh not because that Garima is not capable of being a judge but with your statement. And please be remind that there is no such provision to appoint a judge just because someone is SLC topper, Galaxy student and a friend of Sardarji. And a humble request: it is better to find out the truth rather then just running towards hearsay.

Indissguise wrote : [Indeed there could have been couple of dozen more who were equally qualified to be board 1st; it was just that she happened to be the lucky one. ]. Its very very true Indisguise .The competition was so tight that one student never stood first in school examinations .There used to be new face who took first position each term .I dont remember anyone getting below 90 in compulsory maths and optional maths atleast in SLC .There were 30 or 40 board hopefuls and I dont hesitate to say that I was at the bottom of the pile .Everyone can't squeeze into 10 slots allocated for SLC board .Like you said she was lucky too maybe .After SLC results were out I found myself above those SLC board hopefuls .Maybe Mrs Rana bribed Examination controller to lift me above that pile of board hopefuls so that I could one day defend her in sajha.com :0) Reetal ko naam sunda pani mukh ma paani aauncha Indi ji :)
