Time machine...

It still feels like it was yesterday,
something I said which I would never say.
Your trust is tumbled, the feelings are sore;
days were sunny, the moments were happier before.

Ended up hurting someone whom I really care,
I am stranded alone in the middle of nowhere.
You got bruised because of those unconscious word,
and now it feels like I hit myself with a sword.

That was just a crash and now you seem so far.
Here in my mind, the feelings are still at war.
Your loss has left in my heart a deep scar.
I feel like in a cold cloudy night, a lone star.

I now regret for those things I did and say.
But you are gone and I am left to pray.
Now I can't even put my entreaty in a rhyme.
And, I wish I could turn back the time!

I can relate to it...I too wish I could turn back the time...and change things around. But then again I know it's not gonna happen..at least not any time soon...
Just waiting for someone to invent a time machine...
