i am planning to go to nepal this december. During my summer at the US i have used SSN to work, in some places i have been paying the taxes, whereas in a few i had withheld taxes too. Other than that i have pretty good record. Now will this create any problem upon my arrival to the US (the INS and stuffs like that) please suggest me solution!!

Mansion, I have the same questions for DV winners. Will there be any problem changing status in nepal if one had worked under F1 before? Or should we just go for Adjustment of status here in US?

I went for adjustment of status here is US and it was very smooth. In the interview day, the INS agent asked me some questions like are you working anywhere (although I was in F1), I said yeah in on Campus and he asked me what kind of work, I said as an network troubleshooter and that was it. I received the green card in threee weeks. I think it would have been harder to do this if I had gone to Nepal. It was two years ago.

Oh yeah I had worked here while I was in F1 status and I know couple of people who went for adjustment of status even though they worked here while in F1 and they all didn't have any problems.
