Hi guys,

How's the winter there in Phoenix and Tempe? I'm planning to relocate to Arizona for health realted issues. I have lived in the MidWest with 110 degree in the Summer. Humid summer and the bone chilling winter made me move from there. I know it get hotter there in Arizona but I'm very interested in dry heat and our "Nepali" tolereance and the winter, how cold does it get?

Any insight will be helpful esp if you've lived in the MidWest and experienced the cold the the heat.

Late May through Early October is hot. After that, it's great. Temperature stays close to 30-32F even during harshest winter nights. Daytime it stays at 55-65. You can survive the whole winter with a light Jacket. First summer may seem a little long, but you will get used to the dry heat. Just the difference between direct sun and shade is vast. If your car has tint, it will help when parked out in the sun. If you are a hardcore sports and outdoors person, you will not get bothered by the heat and you'll probably play all year round.
