KATHMANDU, April 19 - As the deadline for the party registration for the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections approaches, a new party has registered itself at the Election Commission.

Nepal National Development Party (NNDP)—led by a Nepali of Japanese origin Takashi Miyahara—Thursday submitted its application for the party registration.

The EC informed that the party, which has its headquarters at Kupondole, Lalitpur, submitted its application with 31,000 signatures.

Eleven parties have registered themselves today as April 27, the deadline for registration, nears.
