This one goes out to all my fans who have loved and supported me for so long... I am writing this thread today to clear out all your doubts and give you answers to all of your questions. So, far you have only been hearing the other side of the story and I never thought that I would ever write something like this on public but it is really important for all of you to know my side of the story as welll!!

Many of you people probably do not beleive that I am Priyanka Karki but beleive me, I am. Firstly, I am neither engaged and nor am I married and most ironically I do not have any relationship with any Indian guy. The picture of the guy that has been posted as my husband or brother..(whatever) is my first cousin. He lives in Virginia and we had gone to New York together during Thanks Giving break. That is all.. He is my BROTHER and I am single. When I was in a relationship in Nepal, I did not hide it. All of you who are in my facebook and Hi5 profile know about my last relationship and if i am in a relationship again, or if i get married or engaged, I will not hide it. I am in the United States to study and not to get into all these controversies. All I am trying to say is that I AM NOT MARRIED!!

Moving on, whatever was up with the 'British Accent' . I do not have British accent - NOT AT ALL. I speak the same way as I did in my shows in Nepal. And, about my low grades, I have a 4.0 GPA and as far as I know, the GPA does not getter better than that. I am focusing entirely on studies here and that is what I plan to do for the next three years also. And about me saying that ' I resemble Aishwarya Rai' , the ironic thing is that I dont even like Aishwarya Rai. I am just happy the way I look and need not be compared with anyone else.

I dont really know what motivated me to actually write this blog but I really wanted all of you to know the real side of the events. I am not married, I am studying and I do not plan to get married for the next 5 years. I wanna move ahead in life and capture my dreams. I am not trying to defent myself or get some sympathy cuz I know that people who really appreciate me will do it anyways and people who do not will not change their minds even after reading this. i have a feel if so called Priyanka Karki and Nas are the same person or she might have told him to plot this conspiracy where we almost 60 gentle  ppl got trapped into .  These media ppl always want to get into scandal and this might be one of those stupid traps.

Hear this out! This may come to you as a shock but 22-year-old Priyanka Karki who won the title of Miss Teen Nepal in the year 2005 has now become someone's wifey. Hazy news of her getting engaged was not false after all, because now we have confirmed news of her tying the nuptials with a Nepali guy in his mid- twenties namely Rochak Mainali. 

Rochak Mainali also a student of the North Alabama University is undergoing his master's program. Priyanka, however is still doing her undergrads. 

The couple who got engaged at a private ceremony at their friends' house, legally bonded in marriage after signing papers in Alabama court.

As to why the young couple rushed into marriage, many have been guessing the reasons could be critical and its definitely kept confidential.  Priyanka who recently celebrated her 22nd birthday may be coming to Kathmandu this summer with her newly married husband. Boy, will she be a subject for Nepali journalist then.

As for us, we're just trying to make it a habit to call her by her new name.....Mrs. Priyanhka Karki Mainali.

To begin with the whole my BROTHER thing, the guy in the picture is Rochak Mainali, and he is DEFINITELY not your brother. I have known that guy for more than two years now and did talk with with him just a couple of weeks ago. I have nothing against you two, or you and any other guy getting together, but your response about him being your brother is just bull.

And he does not live in VA. He is in Florence, AL.I could give out his complete home address, but then i dont think that would be appropriate here, and as cybersansar has quoted so certainly, but he is not doing his masters, he is an undergrad as well in University of North Alabama.

Bottom line : Its either an imposter posing as Priyanka Karki in this thread, or if she IS P Karki, then she is definitely hiding the truth, probabaly not about getting engaged or getting married, but fo sure about something.

And, they are not married btw, thats for sure.....they are just frens, or so they say.... but definitely not her brother....

i wasnt talking about rochak.. we r good friends fo sure and there is nth to hide.. but you look at the other thread that nas has posted 'an open letter to priyanka karki' and look at one of the picture that some guy has posted with me and my brother 'Dikesh Malhotra" in 'New York" at "statue of liberty' ...

First there were controversies about me marrying an Indian Guy.. cuz ppl saw that pic of me and my brother in my HI5 account.. that was what I was claryfying.. ppl assumed I married somebody Indian cuz his last name is 'Malhotra' and that is cuz he is my mom's brother's son and my Mom is Indian.. I hope you got it now.. AND YES HE IS MY BROTHER..i have never even mentioned anything about rochak..

I am loving this drama already.....so exciting......keep this interesting....I am sure the grand finale would be the best.......Oscar-esque.....

PS: If you are indeed the 'real' Priyanka Karki,...nothing against you, but if I were you, I'd turn deaf ears to all this nonesense.....These are break-room gossips, or cooler talks....its never gonna stop......NEVER !

I think by responding to petty comments, you-the originator of this thread-are adding fuel to fire and what happens when you add fuel to a burning fire.......we all know.

You've made your point by clarifying and posting your grades, there's really not any necessity to do anything else, in my opinion.
