So you tell me how common "sensical" is it that we give these pigs (cops) so much power and yet they have to resort to trickery to "prevent" crimes. That too when they cant for sure tell me if the crime would have occurred. The constitution of this country has vested upon me to speak my mind, and the entrapment used by these pigs can put a question mark on that. Are we will to live in a society where if one says he/she feels like slapping someone else, that individual can be tried for battery and assault?
The case of sexual predatory is a very naive and emotional one. Lets not lose our common sense as to what type of society and law enforcement are we inviting if we dont challenge each and every step of these activities. Yes the outcome was good in this case, I agree. Can you guarantee me that if we let this one slide there wont be cops knocking on my door for me saying something against the state or even these goddamn cops.

I think it is the parents duty to monitor and see what the kids are doing on the computer. If you let a child have a TV and a computer in his/her own room, you better be prepared for such incidents.. As a parent and an adult you can always make rules in the house.

Well...nothing can be guranteed on anything..the cops are also humans...they too are prone to errors....it is just that cops are demanded by any society not to make huge blunders therefore they are given far resource and tools necessary to cut down those potential errors.

Hey by the way, I have been confronted by cops three times here (for taking pics of people being arrested on street by cops) and in one instance they even (indirectly) demanded not to publish photos anywhere.

But from these experiences what I figured out is the fact that these cops are far more nervous than we are and far more scared about being the victim of their own potential blunders.

Anyway, in this case no court will see the undercover works of cops as anything degratory to either the defendant nor the cops themselves. By the way cops are far outnumbered when it is compared with potiential sex offender that are lurking over the internet looking for their victims. This is small victory for cops against these creeps but still it is a victory.

It is not just a matter of law...it is an uncomprehensible and disgusting thing to try to sexually exploit immature and young kids.

Dude come on...many other types of criminals in other types of crimes are caught buy such undercover operations and I dont seem to recall any incident where a court has barred cops from doing legit undercover operations to expose criminals and their crimes before much serious acts are commited by the criminals.
