With market down and no clear solution in sight, it looks to be trending down for some time. I think there might be some opportunity for buyers to scoop out some stocks at discount price.

Anyone has any suggestion on what they have their eyes set on?

I am planning to buy some commodity stocks including some oil. Staying away from airline, food and hospitality (at least for near future).

Titepati, IGC was pretty sweet. Had entered @ $1.05 a few months ago, and sold it at $3.25... even though it did reach all the way to $3.72.

New to stock trading, bought some of SOS at 3.90 and sold them at 6.20, got few hundreds of dollars of profit. It looks like NAS started this SOS, thanks man, you are really pro in trading, some others are also experienced trader. Keep on posting any news, that are helpful for newcomer like us.

For those who ask me for PTE ( my PT is 5 as of today ). can be long term, would I stay until I reach PT , The answer is no, I might sell it in loss depends on the day I am having, I need to adjust my trade daily. Since lot of ppl are getting in stock. I have made a list of few things. Hope this helps all new folks.

1. Market due for correction, don’t know when , how much we looking? 2%-5%, would it recover ? depends on the sector you are in
2. How do I know ? this comes from ppl trading for 10-15 yrs. You should agree too lot of greens lately, if you were playing right, last few days might indicate something ll happen.
3. Right now If you are in spac,energy,weed,ev,btc play. you should not be loosing money. Easy money in bio but make sure you get in and out on right time. I have history of week hands. Few example MVIS/Gevo . Many ppl know here we were early on may be $1 or less. Look at the price today.
4. I always take profit and investment and leave the rest to ride, I am scaling down to manageable trade, and want to have lot of cash in hand for Rainy Days. I have way too many to look for at the moment of heat like last few days
5. Market is volatile but there is money out there, play good, research, look for catalyst; look for compliance, look for news, look for management and their history, set your self entry and exit. (sometimes I read whole night that in addition to my work and family, and day trade). So don’t just go and buy if someone tells you to buy.
6. Be confident on your holds, don’t panic buy or sell, this is still my weakness (takes practice)
7. Have as much as cash to average down or double down ,depending on the day. This should be same amount as you have invested, if possible.
8. Again invest what you can afford to loose, DO not risk your bills or Savings. Go slow, learn the market, learn the pattern what works for you. What works for me might not works for all
9. Do not hesitate to ask questions, sometimes google can give u lot of info , then you filter down and verify the legitimacy of your research.
10. I have missed many stocks by the time I decided to buy after my research. I wont chase if it goes beyond my hands but ll have in watchlist for RED days
11. I try to post what I think I will buy or bought. You can make decisions or ask questions. there are more smarter ppl here .
12. ALSO request other folks who are bad ass then me to add here and help our fellow members.

I came to know about SOS from this group. I really want to be part of this kind of ride.

@deepocean , if you ask me it's not you ll find overnight. You find early and wait. I was in gevo ,oeg for $. It's matter of when it's discovered. When u get early and load like mr NAS. You ll forget the pain in waiting. It seems like SOS found yesterday ,yes for some but I was in may b more then months. Also know lot ppl don't want $1&2 but they fomo once 4-5 .Good luck.

I agree with Drogba on the 12 points. I suggest safely tuck our primary savings into mutual funds, rainy day funds etc. Active participation should be only on the money we can afford to lose. Stories of great successes in stocks are played again and again but failures are rarely reported or we tend to tune them out.

I am just a newbie.

I would like to add one more thing.
Take Profits. No matter what profit is profit. I was the bag holder for BB. Missed 5k profit and went to lose 1k.
Some people take risk and ride. But make sure you take your Profits on the way. This will minimize loss.
Learned from BB so sold all SNDL yesterday when it started falling.
