Bijaya Kumar is someone I like. But then like all men, he also has a side that I really dislike. To have a glimpse of Bijaya Kumar's pathetic side, it is enough to read the following sentences in the following article:

Ah, it is about him. It is often about him. What is the relationship between Kishun Jee and " प्रदीप गिरिजीसँग मैले यसै विषयमा, बितेका वर्षमा घन्टौं कुराकानी गरेको छु ।" Who cares what he talks about Pradip Giriji? Bijaya Kumar has to insert himself.
Here is a classic Bijaya Kumar:
"परम्परागत संसदीय प्रणालीका गुणदोषका विषयमा मलाई कसैको उपदेश आवश्यक छैन । राजनीतिशास्त्रका विख्यात प्राध्यापक स्वर्गीय लियो रोजको विद्यार्थी हुँ म ।"
Nobody should write something like that. Btw, does he have a degree in political science? Or was he a short term visitor? Just because he was a student of a dead professor, he should not say something like "I know everything and no one can teach me anything". This statement is very sickening.

Yes. And I think people like Agnibikram are really pathetic. What does that past thread has to do with the content of this thread?
This is fairly typical of a lot of other posters. They are not addressing the issue at hand, but carrying grudge from the past threads.
In any case, how is your plan to run away from Nepal coming up, AB? You are the one who wants us to believe that you 'left' USA without trying for a job here. And yet, you grumble so much about the situation in Nepal. You perpetually unsatisfied depressed moron..

Agnibikram , speaking of past thread, you told us you worked for bank. But then you immediately started telling us to purchase house and land in KTM. It was funny because these are exactly times when ghar jagga dalal are unable to sell their houses/lands (see reports in nagarik and ekantipur). Furthermore, you had no idea how much a banker earns. Now, I am beginning to think you are working for a jagga dalal as a salesman. No wonder you are so angry, and depressed.

Don't worry about what my parents are doing, son. I didn't buy it. My parents did.
And again, if you've got money right now, this IS the right time to buy lands and houses in Nepal as the people who financed their purchases are literally on their knees, praying someone will buy their lands and houses. This gives a buyer a major upperhand and can literally purchase anything at the price he asks for. The borrowers are struggling to pay off their interests and are ready to sell their land/property for a reasonable amount.
3 years from now, the prices will soar up again as money will continue growing once the economic meltdown is taken care of, but the area ( land ) will not.
It all comes down to affordability though, like I've already aforementioned.

Because 3 years is just a projection. Things might change in 12 months time. If you're from Kathmandu, I bet you heard how prices changed overnight about 3 years ago. It changed a bit 6 months later ( from that time ).
Like I aforementioned, my parents tell me things were like this back in 2050 BS too but the housing market rebounded just couple years later.
Right now, the people who're struggling at this very moment are people who sought bank loans to finance their purchases. Now that I'm inside a leading bank itself, I can confidently see what and how much people've borrowed and what you get to see will leave you completely shocked.
As the market is down, buyers ( who can afford ) are still skeptical to purchase, as they think the market will continue going downhill but since the govt. has formulated a new policy, people will need to show their cash. And this in turn is highly likely to help housing market rebound.
