Dallas Mavericks are on their second hot run of a winning streak of 10 runs or more.
They have the best record in the NBA right now but are they the best team and can they go on to win the championship that they dearly missed last season after having it in their grasp?

Well I am a Mavs fan and i think that they are the best team and will win the coveted title this year.

And they have been winning matches without Dirk proving that they are not a 'one man' team but a team of performers.

What do you guys have to say?

Talking about NBA title.. you got to be kidding me man... Remember last year.. it looked like Detroit will win 70 games.. Did I see ring in their pinky.. hell no.. unless Dallas can do it in the post season their season will be failure as before.. I think San Antonio can still kick them in theig guts.. may be even LAKERS.. Again.. HEAT are still the defending champs.. as long as they can go to playoff.. big daddy big aristotle.. diesel is back baby.. and then again there is Ferrari... Kobe Bryant.. Dallas Nemesis.. WADE will be back before the NBA finals.. too man.. to kick Dallas's rear..

What about AMARE.. then again Iverson and Carmelo.. Boozer, Okur, and Williams.. UTAH are really getting better.. Can Dallas handle the West.. they might have been lucky last year considering Tim Duncan was not 100% healthy.. Guess what he is now.. Remember Ginoboli's stupid foul took Dallas to the finals..

There is no doubt Dallas is one of the best team in NBA right now.. well if you guys are thinking about championship right now... its a long way guys... Well Look at Detriot last Year...They were unstoppable.. but what happened??? They Lost to heat...There are lot of good team in West .. Like Houston,Suns, Spurs--> these team can beat dallas!!!

houston, u gotta be kidding man. there is no way that houston can beat dallas. not even spurs. suns and miami have some chances but again ...no lakers... dallas is a big and number one contender for the title this year.
by the way guys, detroit last year was not even close to this years' dallas. dallas has already done three ten winning streaks of the seasons. and they havent even lost 10 games yet. detroit lost more than 20 games last year. more than last years' dallas and that was also with eastern conference teams where most of the teams were very weak. so no comparision of dallas with last years detroit.

Pistons went 64-18 last season being the best team in the league.
Dallas, this time has to win just 14 out of the possible 23 games. Unless something really miraculous happens i do not see Dallas losing more than 8 games now onwards.

Playoff's maybe a different story but MAVSl are the safest bet, are'nt they?

I like dallas sports very much. besides ranger I like cowboys, stars and mavs. Yeah mavs are doing good so far. In order to be better, first thing they have to be healthy in future and jason, josh, and nowitzki has the tremedous role. Main thing they have good defense but in offense they do not have consistency and to beat maverick somebody has to have atleast 100 pnts and dallas less than 90. if they do that there is chance to beat mavericks, If mavs scores more than 90 thy are tough. But this year I don't think anyone is better than mavs. see suns stat they are 22-10 in western conference and dallas has 32-6. Estern conference sucks as you all know they do not have any consistencies. But in play off team get different and every team is tough to beat. so we will see how it goes. I am mavs fan but they made be so sad last year when they lose with the underdog maimi team. so sometimes I doubt.

Lakers lose by 36 points ..oh yeah they made a franchise history-losing by the highest margin at home ..is there any stopping the Mavs..if yes then it's gotta be the Mavs and the Suns matchup on the 14th..
