School start hunu bhanda agadi bihana bunch of stx guys threw a rose on sms ko building( nirmal school tira ko side ko building) n the rose hit the window of my clss 9 “A” n miss uma subba came to knw abt it then she rushed to principal marget’s office ani ta hangama suru… stx guys sucked @ targeting well they did they were suppose to throw the rose at clss 9 “B” but A ma lagyo assembly ma sab clss 9 ko kt haru lai rakera devan anjana le bhasan deko “if u guys r so desperate go make a line @ street I am sure there are lots of road side romeos” re lol everyone was trying not to laugh their ass off. Ajja stx ko tyo bokas haru lai sms lerako lol prici talked to them n warned them not to hit sms grls hahaha it was hilarious

Me too, I can speak "suddha" nepali though Iam a marian. Well we do have this twang, the marians are famous for. Hey gurls why don't we too talk about our teachers, for instance indu, naidu etc. How they disliked me, I remember Indu's class, when I was in class 8, she was always after me for that "bhoto", ms. agrawal how can I ever forget her, she simply hated me and the feeling was mutual, made me stand in front of the class calling me a sample of st.mary's always.

I once got expelled from the class (9, I think) by Thakur sir because I could not suppress my laughter when he said "bhyaguta chirni". With his heavy Terai accent, I swear it sounded like bhyaguta chi*ni.

This is the most interesting thread i have come across. Reminds me of my school days. I have one incident...

Miss Shilpakar was incharge of our vocational class and we were supposed to make our school skirt. No matter how hard i tried, the pleats did not work and she kept making me re-do it again. After, three trials, i made up my mind to submit it without fixing the problem. When she looked at it she said "Dekhyo, mehnat ko phal mitho huncha. Skirt kasto ramro sanga silayo"...........man i was so mad that i did not know if i should laugh or cry. I should have just submitted it in the first place :)

Then there was this "Bujki" ( Miss Bimala Shrestha) who kept saying bujki and we kept counting how many times she said it one period.

One more... There was this girl in our class who always volunteered to sing when the teacher asked. The funny part was,every time she sang the same song "Ghumti ma na aou hai" From class 6 to class 10. By the time we were in class 10, when she sang this song we all put our heads down and laughed our brains out!!!!!

How Can anyone forget Love Light Bhatt Sir, the science teacher who kept putting his hand on his nose. What was his real name???

I remember one more incident. This was during Holi time and the SMS girls got hit with lolas all the time. We hated walking to school. So one day, my friend and i decided to wear our raincoats while walking to school......
guess what??? On that day, nobody hit us and we looked like complete fools wearing raincoat on a sunny day.

Hey bhagwan... i thought it will be hard for us catch 'em Marian girls with their Neprican language...but when i read those lines from ROCKON_GAL ... i was shocked.. its not hard.. its impossible to understand 'em. I read those lines and felt like i was reading some jibberish language. ROCKON-GAL u speak with the rock song accent.. unable to get the lyrics. ;-)

Last week I was in a store at Jackson Height, NY . I saw some girls who looked like Nepalese. So, when i was near 'em they started talkin in english... so i was like oh aight.. may be not from Nepal.. and when we were leaving i told my cousin who studied in Mary's ... look at those gals don't they look like from Nepal.. she was like..."Oh yeah they are from Nepal.. we were in same school. Damn.. are u for real???
then we heard them saying "in that mavie .. u know.. that hero was kasto cute... ani tyasle tyo dishum dishum did ta jhanai ..oh my god..."

Abui indu's and silpakar's accent!!! .Tata ra mama. timi haru ko bhoto..agadi khulla ra pachadi khulla!! And then the demerits, who can forget that. Gosh did yesodha teach you guys? When we were in class 8 she taught us science and gosh she used to stratch her hair all the time and let the dandruff fall all over the table!! she was one hell of a character. Once one of my friends made the mistake of asking her some question about this reproductory system and she asked her to sit on her table in front of the whole class, take off her skirt and then only would she expain, and according to her everyone would then understand more!!!! gosh...her somewhere up up somewhere down down..makes me laugh out loud..

Who remembers Lambodhar Jha?

The man was one of a kind. At one instance, after the conclusion of class, the entire class was ready to step out when suddenly a guy yelled .."ladies first!"..knowing Lambo and his ego..he takes a step back and waits for people to leave the class. To his dismay, we all stand ther and laugh..So, he grabs this smallest dude in clsas( ghante) and pushes him out of the clsas..and then smiles and says..." here we go!"....and he was being serious too....

Good that he was never a teacher here in USA, upon f***king up dance moves, we used to come to you and grab your little bird or so he called...tero chara..samotau...We used to laugh like crazy then but now when we come ot think of it, wasnt it child molestation?lol

Ohhhhh yessssss!!!! I remember both of them.

Jha sir was a good guy at the core, but his ways of expression were hillarious. Guys used to ask him all sorts of questions, just to tick him off, while he would solve algebra equation on the board. Once we kept asking where did a certain variable x come from as the equation was being solved. First two or three times he explained patiently. However, soon he caught up with the joke and got pissed. I asked him, "ani sir, tyo x chai aba kaha bata aayo ta?" He literally screamed in his thick Janakpurey accent, "Uuuuuuudera aaayo!!"

Purna Nepali sir was another namuna. Man, sometimes, we could smell alcohol in his breath. I guess the musicians need to drink just to exist as musicians. And he used to beat students. Once, we kept a count of his corporal punishments. Sad story is he found out about it and he got one of the students to confess the whole darn thing infront of the class. I think we were in class 7 or 8, so we were scared shitless.

I remember monkeys visiting school backyards time and again. Happened couple of times
during the decade at STX.

Once during a Biology period in grade 8 (our classroom used to be in the old buiding) a monkey got into the classroom from the rear window of the classroom right in the middle of Biology period. Everbody laughed at the sight of monkey which scared the hell out of monkey and it exited out of the classroom just as quickly as it had entered.
