Dallas Mavericks are on their second hot run of a winning streak of 10 runs or more.
They have the best record in the NBA right now but are they the best team and can they go on to win the championship that they dearly missed last season after having it in their grasp?

Well I am a Mavs fan and i think that they are the best team and will win the coveted title this year.

And they have been winning matches without Dirk proving that they are not a 'one man' team but a team of performers.

What do you guys have to say?

can't wait to see AI, Anthony, JR smith, Camby play together ...Nuggets will be one of the best team in NBA.

phoenix and dallas may have lost the same no of matches ..so wat dallas still are ahead with more wins( there is no guarantee that phoenix will the two matches that they are behind).. thus Mavs are officially the best team in the NBA at present
One thing that i can agree with is both Dallas and Phoenix recovered big time after a horrible start to the season.
And remember Dallas got their 1st win of the season with a 119-112 win over Suns

Nuggets arent going anywhere w/ only too many offensive fire power, they will not be the team to beat anytime soon. They need someone to score inside. Phoenix Suns are already the best offensive team and dont even think about comparing these 2 teams' offensive ability. Any given nite, Suns can hail more points than Nuggets against any team.

Dallas is good. Terry is awesome, he plays the best when his team needs him the most. End of the season, Dallas will get the ring, Cuban will start loving David Stern.

Well i must say it was a really tough match for Mavs for the 1st three quarters but like most of their matches, they find a way to break the shackles and comeback.
Dirk and Howard were awesome buti must also feel for Tracy Mcgrady who scored his personal high of the season but still did not manage to pull off a win for his team .
