Looks like this thread is for bragger.. Well let me brag too. I wanted to be an ELectrical Engineer. I started EE at College, then I swithed my interested to Social Science, and then I didn't see any benefit by doing that. After that I finished degree in Philosophy since i got curious in investigation of the nature, causes, principles of reality, knowledge, and values based on logical reasoning. After I graduated with Philosophy, I wanted to discover IT world too. So, I finished Masters degree in computer science. Worked at Enron until I got laid off. Then I moved to Hawaii and started my own business. Today, I am amogst a succesful businessman in Hawaii. Master of all Charo = Prem Charo

hmm, at first i wanted to be a doctor.. every nepali's dream, then i was like.. i dont wanna be a doctor.... every nepali i know wanna be a doctor, so i did some research, then i was like well.. i should be a dentist.. its kinda like a doctor and you make a lot of money.... after all, it was all about money when i was a kid.... i decided to be a dentist in high school... then, i graduated from high school....aka more mature and grown up.. then i started looking at my life differently..... i was like, do i really wanna be a dentist?? just coz they earn a lot of money.. i thought about that for a while.... and i was like, F$uk money.. i wanna do something that i like.... and since i like math, I LOVE MATH, i was like.... i would major in math.. and then.... i was like, how about i double major, combine two fields.. you know, hybridization... ahah.... so i decided to major in computer science...... and then i came up with a plan to be a cryptologist..... so i did some research on cryptologist.. great career if you love math and computer..... fun job... coz you get to encrypt and decrypt codes... logical stuff.. which i really like to do... and also came to find out that they make a lump sum of money.... damn, its like killing two birds with one stone..... and till now.. its looking good and hope i will become a cryptologist one day..... as of now, i am a shift-supervisor at CVS..... so nepali ppl, living in VA area (falls church, tysons)...... if ya'll need a job... lemme know....

What i think is our ambitions are over-shadowed by the dreams of our parents. Yeh from my childhood i wanted to be a doctor, coz my mom always asked me what did i want to be? a doctor or an eng, those were the only two option that was provided to me. One day i changed my ambition it was my seventh grade, i wanted to be a programmer. I did tell my mother about this, the response i got was "Why do u want to be a typist ?" LOL I think i have achived my goal.

I had wanted to become an tech. savvy Artist therefore went to get a degree in Multimedia Design at a private university in Michigan, however I saw considerable amount of money in marketing and sales. Now I ended up becoming an independent Sales Rep/ Marketing Specialist here in Canada. However my initial dreams are career related. 5 years ago I wanted to buy a home and settle down in the waterfronts of Pacific Ocean where the Costal Mountains meets the Pacific in the Province of British Columbia in CANADA. I always wanted to see mountains when I wake up in the morning everyday therefore choose that location of British Columbia in CANADA. I'm working on my dreams.

I completely disregarded the dreams about what my parents wanted me to become. I believe I should become what I would want to become NOT what my parents want me to become for very obvious and simple reasons. I didnt had heart nor any talent or qualities to become what my parents, especially my father, wanted me to become. Parents have no rights nor should they ever force their children or emotionally blackmail to become what they would like their children to become. Well, I have an education, career, and my ambitions and dreams to follow. I did not become a criminal nor an alcoholic. I'm not a drug addict nor am I a womanizer. Is their anything my parents to ask for from me. Didnt I full fill my parents' dream in another way.
