Hearing about nagarikreport whining all day long (and what not) is a bore; so why not take a lil' sojourn and talk about something that gives us instant gratification (so to say).
Get set, ready and go - your things from the bucket list

Hey Gracu....If someone asks me why you joined geology? my answer is I was undecided about my major until I saw brochure of Department of Geology, hanging on the wall of Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus. What I found on that brochure was luring description of some of their fieldworks outside the Kathmandu valley with other prospectives of study. And then I decided this is going to be my career.
So Yellowstone National Park is still in my list from US and I am eyeing for a trip to Antartica.
A more complete list of my dream destinations will include
Chocoloate Hills, Philipines
Saler de Uyuni, Bolivia
Gateway to Hell, Iceland
Stone forest, Madagascar
Fingal's Cave, Scotland
Great Blue Hole, Belize
Great Barrier Reef, Australia
Crystal Caves of Giants, Mexico ( someone told me that they have already filled water in that cave and it is not visitable any more, so sad )
Hell Gate, Turkemanistan
Wave Rock, Australia
I went to Alaska last summer but never got chance to watch Aurora Borealis, so one more time for that mighty northen lights....
this list goes on but time and money ......never enough!
I still have long list of camera lenses and accessories in my bucket., needs to consult with Juggy /Jacksparrow/Umesh or other pro phtographer in Sajha ..

Does everyone's bucket list merely comprise of traveling.....I don't know, I am passionate about geography, but I don't think i am an avid traveler. I have been to several conferences, where I have enjoyed sleeping in the hotels rather than go sightseeing. Especially in US, the more hype they create about sightseeing touristy places, the more disappointed I am as it is exactly the same as in other cities...
anyways, i have one and only bucket list.....
I want to be free, feel free, break free..........The only time I realize I have done that was when I was a kid, alone in the terrace flying a kite, fluttering in the sky all by itself. I want to have that feeling again.

Grace_S ji, I'd have thought you'd have Graceland in your mind for your honeymoon.
That aside, you literally stole the words outta my mouth and heart when you said "Around the world in 80 days". When I submitted my Bucket list, I knew I had rushed myself and as an avid traveling enthusiast (albeit I must confess, I'd never been outside the valley prior to my last trip to Kathmandu), I can't express my intense desire to travel around the world.
Even today, when I get bored at work, I keep looking into ticket prices etc to take a trip around the world and I've found out that it's doable at a mere sum of 10-15k.
Jonny, believe it or not, just yesterday, I was looking into taking a road trip to Alaska from the Bay Area. I wish to travel to Seattle and Vancouver sometime this year/early next year though.

Jonny, going to Europe for one week is like not going to Europe at all. You need to set aside more time. I was there for a whole month in winter but it still was not enough.
A lot of people like to travel but if you can afford it and dont mind going out of your comfort zone, you should definitely live in foreign countries for a few months/years. When you travel, it is just sight-seeing but when you live there, you will actually get to know its people and culture. The experiences that you get is priceless and you can also brag about it. LOL.
For me, the one thing I really wanna do before I die is open non-profit schools all over Nepal. Is this possible? I sure dont know.

Damn Bodmas, Close to getting six pack and already ran 200 miles this year??? Man I need to start hanging out with you :) Also, about your last list - making love in a open place looking at the moon...well dude that is not that difficult. Get a room at a high rise hotel with a big balcony or terrace on one of those full moon night when sky is clear..but don't mention your moon experience on your kids book...haha.
Behoove_me, I too want to meet President Clinton and Thomas Friedman along with Fareed Zakaria. But Aaron Rodgers not so much as I 'm a black n gold fan. I would like to meet Troy Polamalu instead. And dude, what's up with Ryan Gosling??
Violet7, hope it is possible, especially your bucket list.

Jonny,
Bet you are happy that them Steelers are back on track after Benji's 5 touchdown passes. But the reason I want to meet Rodgers is (leaving aside me being a cheesehead), his leadership ability, his precision passes, his perserverance, and coming out of his foolish predecessor's shadow and over all, being snubbed by all other teams during draft and his own management for three gruesome years. It takes substantial valor to be emerge as a winner after what he has been through. Therefore I'd want to meet him. Having said that I'd like to meet Troy too, heard he is spiritual. But again, being a Packers fan, I do not readily want to buy into the media hype steelers are in.
As far as Ryan Gosling is concerned, he is an extremely good actor if you leave aside that cheesy 'Notebook' and the recent chick flick with his 'photoshopped' abs. He has impressed me in 'Half Nelson' and he has continued to impress me through 'ides of March'. I'd rather have him win an oscar than a two minute scream-happy Penelope Cruz in that Xavier Bardem and Scarlett Johanson flick.,
