These Bahuns have for so long discriminated majority of Nepalis for so long that finally they are paying the price for it. Their supremacy in Hindu religion lead to large number of magars & janjatis to join the Maobadis, and their monopoly in government jobs and discrimination have lead to Madheshis start their own struggle. well Mr. Nice Guy, if you look into the nepalese history as a whole to the present, you cannot deny that the Bahuns have played one of the huge roles in bringing Nepal to the situation where it is. I agree that Bahuns have played a role in the positive things that has happened in Nepal but if you look at the overall picture, they are to be blamed, even if partially then its a huge huge part.

From the days when modern Nepal was created, Bahuns undeniably are the people who played big part politics and bureaucracy. Now my Bahun friend, you cannot deny that bureaucracy is one of the deciding factor that decides wether a nation develops or not. The land of Nepal has not developed speaks for itself as who is to blame. It was the fact yesterday and it is the fact today. Look at the the big hakims, politicians, law people............... who are at the top,middle and bottom???????? Bahuns. Now who is to be blamed. Blaming Prachanda is blaming a bahun and blaming Girija is blamin a bahun.
You or other learned friends might say but they are only individuals and do not represent the whole community. Well technically it is true but in the same time it is not.
Bahuns you say are at the top because they study hard, work hard an all that ....yeah that is very true..... But how do you explain the fact that the people who represent only about 20%(may be i dont know the exact stats) have historically gone to schools and colleges where as rest of the pople of Nepal are not as educated as them. Partially the rest of the community have to share the blame ........ but the bahuns have to take a huge blame for this. Caste system....... bahuns are to study and the rest are to work in their respective field.

Bahuns are to be blamed....and bahuns of today are to be blamed as well. Their ways have now been deep rooted in nepalese society be it corruption to still prevailing caste system.


one does not become narrow minded if he/she sees and speaks something that is truth.......... if you Bahuns think that what we saying is wrong then try to change yourself..... try to see what the majority of people in nepal see...... try to look from a different angle.........try once not to think as a bahun but a person from some other community..... and you'll find out why we see the way we see...........
