mr qwest. yes we (kirat rai) are also called khambu... there is nothing wrong calling khambu.. there is an organization 'khambuwan mukti morcha' which is affiliated to Maoist and has carried out violent activities in the past in the name of khambu autonomy. so that khambu name got some bad image to the society.

Indedd lonely gurl. I am sorry but I am not amused or entertained by Rastabahadur ways of writing. I know that he does not write like that when it comes to communicating to people outside sajha. Perhaps he does not take forum seriouslyand just want to have fun by adopting irritating writing style ( I can almost hear him laughing as he reads this ).

Good to hear that Chandi is being observed in US. Hopefully, other Nepalese beside Rai, would join together in Chandi dance and have fun.

and yup, chandi dance is observed every year here in new york.although i am not a rai, i do attend it and try dancing to their tunes.they even have a free buffet for the guests.
