Nothing will happen to him. He has some "SELF DECIDED DEATH like BHISMA OF MAHABHARAT" and he will be Prime Minister of Nepal for at least 10 years more.

Girija Prasad Koirala hospitalised after suffering from a bout of pneumonia

Former prime minister and president of main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) Girija Prasad Koirala has been hospitalised after he felt ill.

Koirala, who had addressed the rally of NC in Mahendranagar in far west on Saturday, felt ill on Sunday morning.

Upon reaching airport in Kathmandu, he was promptly taken to Shahid Ganga Lal Heart Center in Bansbari.

Doctors attending on him have said that he is suffering from a bout of pneumonia. Doctors have found a patch of pneumonia in the lower part of his right lung. He has also come down with fever.

Doctors have advised Koirala to remain in hospital for few days.

The 86-year-old Koirala had been leading a hectic schedule in the last couple of weeks traveling to different parts of the country to address rallies. nepalnews.com Dec 07 08

Finally hearing some good news about nepal after a long time.

Some of the folks, like Girija, with old ideology and arrogance must go for any change to happen in Nepal. He has been blocking the path for any new leader to emerge from within his party too. Girija destroyed the country when he was the prime minister for over a period of 12 years. The only good thing he has done is to bring the Maoists out of the jungle. Girija's time is over and it would be much better for the country if he either retires from politics or shuts his eyes off permanently in the hospital.

His Brother BP always said king is needed in the country. Dont' compromise and work with Communist.  But see what girija did. He worked together with communist in ousting the king.

         Shameful loss for the oldest party (congress) in the election. Now two communist (UML and Maoist) Kicked his butt.  Maoist are now openly saying that after king  Congress is main Enemy.  

Ram bahadur Thapa  BADAL yesterday said openly in news " Army will be integrated with PLA. Congress can't stop it. How long do you think Girija can survive to prevent it ? It is inevitable"

Little master - The only good thing he has done is to bring the Maoists out of the jungle.

Hmm.........But then who created Maoist. People say its autocracy but I will say its girija to a large portion.  Girija could have addressed maoist problem there and then between 2046-2054.  He could have solved maoist problem when it wasnt as great. Unfortunately he turned the blind eye and deaf ear  and the congressman's corruption only heightened the maoist.  I still believe any good Leader with vision would have solved the maoist problem .

Nepal le mukti paaune bhayo aaba...... I am not in support of quick death of GP as a person. But I would be happy to see my country more alive than GP. Longer the time GP survives quicker my country dies.

You know i have cushed a lot of things for these political leaders in past, but as a human being now i wish for his recovery in a clause that he would retire from politics. These guys have done enough damage to our country.

Although Girija marnu nai ta solution hoina, but it is okay if he dies now but NC, which is run by a single person now, should not die. He is old enough to leave the politics like Krishan Prasad Bhattarai is doing and Ganesh Man Singh did in their last few years of lives. These old leaders do more harm than good for their parties and country.
