Are foreign students in US with F1 visa allowed to buy stocks ? Experts please help me understand this.

yes yes yes.. you can as long as your money is clean and source is not bureaucrat/political corruption (which is most likely case for you Nepalese guys).

Infact you can even start your own business, but can not work there tricky.. yes it is.. welcome to Capitalism-101

As far as i know i dont think there are any restrictions on buying stocks but maybe u should google it.

I was thinking about investing in the stock...but i was just wondering how to start investing????Why should one do at first to invest in stocks?
