Hello all,
If a person filed a tax jointly with a spouse and claimed lifetime credit but NEVER claimed hope credit on 2006 or earlier year but now wants to claim hope credit for 2007 tax filing. Is it possible and legal? They both went school for the year 2007.
Please help....with reasons. I went to IRS website but still I can't understand.
