this is due to Indian economy. Once Re-evaluation of Indian Rupees and Nepalese Rupees is done, I think USD will go up again against NRS.

No Man. Understand first about ASEAN, Indian,Chinese Economy. Then conclude ur facts and figure. But certainly Nepalese economy is dependent upon Indian Chattrachaya. Whatever RBI decides- NRB will copy and paste after 1.6 * calculation. Again RBI decides about $ value which is dependent on Indian Business Leaders like Tata, Ambani so on and so forth.

I think here is small misunderstanding going on. Nepalese Currency is not getting strong against $$$. Its because Indian Currency is geting Strong then $$$$.And nepal and India has fixed exchange rate. So Nepal is getting relatively advantage from indian currecy geting stronger. Other reasons: 1. Poor American Economy. 2. Rising Indian Economy. 3. Increase in import in crude oil by India. 4. Increase in Export by india. 5. Decrease in Export by USA 6. And many more.... Tara je bhaye pani..Dollar ko valur ghatnu bhanya Nepal lai ramro to hamilai naramro... And $1000.00 pathauda jamma 65000 Rs hune bhayo haina ta??

Yeah that is right...but think in a broad way... If the price of $ rises, price of every commodity rises...petrol,gas,foodstuffs...everything.. Every citizen suffers... If you send 10 thousands $, then an increase of Rs 1/$ makes a diff. of Rs 10 thousands...But see how many MILLIONS suffer because of the inflation ??? which one now weighs more in value ??

US is benefiting from $ devaluation as it will increase its export and lessen its debt. One of my friend guessed US will try to devalue even by printing more bills if market does not devalue it.
