It is very sad to know that about 10 people were injured today in Gongabu this evening. Most of them were poor street children who were paid by party members to throw stones to the police. My view is if the politicians want to demonstrate in a peaceful way, they should send their own party supporters who have knowledge about politics. They should stop paying these kids to throw stones at police just to increase voilence. Last time, I put a message about a domestic servant of a high-ranking party official who got injured in demonstrations. Now everyone knows here that the poor servant was forced by his master to distrupt peace by throwing stones at the police. Politicians should stop these nonsense habit. I will update more on this tomorrow after load shedding.

We don't see any leaders (Giraja, Ser bahadur, Bam dev, Narayan man etc. ) of SPA in this protest. They should come forward instead of sending kids to fullfill their dreams. Its is not time to hide. Most of them are underground because of chance to get arrested. Kids and Kids, stop taking benefits from these innocents life! ShresthaN I also heard about underage boys working at central committe office of Nepali Congress.

No one can stop these kids. They are having fun. WE are all sad when kids are getting hurt. But, not a single statement from the neptas forbidding the kids to such protests. It seems The Netas were born to suck our blood i think. Hami sabai ko purwa juniko sahu muji haroo.

Ok, let's assume the leaders encouraged the children in the protests. Does this mean that they deserve to be brutally charged? Do you have have any ideas how many homeless children are there in the streets of Kathmandu ? They are not only homeless but the children of under-priviledged class of people like rikshaw pullers, cab drivers, porters etc who hardly attend schools but spend the day hanging around. Who controls these children? The involvement of children are just spontaneous and don't make it an issue to thrash the parties and leaders. No party leaders or acitivists have gone door to door to collect children for the protests. So, stop making baseless comments!

. let's assume for a moment that there was at least tacit encouragement to send these children. but the fact remains that they got injured by the uncalled for and haphazard action of the police, including lathi charge, tear-gas, rubber-bullets and live rounds. now who's to blame here? blaming the kids (or whoever didn't prevent them from protesting) is like blaming a rape victim for wearing a short skirt (or her parents for allowing her to wear it).

what more, i agree , children should not be punished even if politicians send them there. We also have seen pictures of children who are holding their ears and doing sit-down as a punishment by the police. I wanted to joint the protest too but I left the demonstration when I saw children being given stones by bigger people. When cameramen were there, the neta urged children to go behind the crowd so that the crowd looked only of big people. That is why the children get hurt. So I did not join the crowd.

I am glad you did not join the protests, RambhuYadav. People attending such protests should be driven by their thoughts, not by money. What do you say?

Detached from the anything that followed and solely on the "heading" of the thread. Three counts here: 1) The adults - i) The general excited populace, ii) The unemployed and have nothing better to do and would participate in any gai jatra, iii) Really concerned people with genuine interest in their heart, iv) The paid "bhada ko tattus," and v) The maoists,....errrrrrrr oh no, leave it. Who am I kidding here? All of the above mentioned cortrie, sans Maoist (do not want to waste my breath this once :)) have to ACTIVELY scold, tell, and advice those small kids to not to be out on the streets in these circumstances. For those who do not have shelter, the responsible bodies have to make sure that they are somewhere else. 2) The security forces have to show utmost restrain while dealing with the kids. although one can lose their mind in the heat of the moment; abusing children is NOT acceptable. 3) And those children themselves have to understand that as much as they love to play "sikari" with their "guleli" - you do not kill a herd of tigers with a stick. The most probable outcome would be --> they would all be eaten by the beasts. Case in point - the pictures that have been of great benefit to those who INT THE FIRST PLACE should not have allowed or stopped those kids to be out. But I guess, it serves those selfish groups purpose. Although it is not a black and white, the solely lies on the adults who was participating in the "peaceful" protest and then to the security forces. Spread the awareness - let the kids be. Keep them safe. Teach them, advice them, scold them. When push comes to shove "ek dui laat dera bagaide ni huncha." Better than being crushed by a herd of donkeys and a raining bullets. My million bucks - la ja taa IndisGuise:O

Read as: "All of the above mentioned coterie, sans Maoist...." "Case in point - the pictures that have been of great benefit to those who IN THE FIRST PLACE should not have allowed/stopped those kids to be out. But I guess, it serves those selfish groups purpose." "Although it is not a black and white, the BLAME solely lies on the adults..." ----------------------------- Hera bacha lai ni nachodeko bhanera photo khichna lai jatha haru. Bacha haru ko naam ma pani mileage linu lai. CAN THEY NOT KEEP KIDS OUT OF HARMS WAY? For every bullet and hits those kids got, for every drop of blood, THESE FCUKING POLITICIANS, UNEMPLOYED BHADA KO TATTUS AND MAOISTS, SECURITY PERSONALS, GYANE AND ALSO THOSE WHO CLAIM THEY ARE THERE FOR THE GENUINE INTEREST - THEY ARE ARE RESPONSIBLE " EQUALLY." Stop placarding kids on a blood bath and try to gain mileage. FOCUS ON HOW TO KEEP THOSE KIDS IN THE SAFE PLACE. Everybody fcuking needs a sensational pictures and news. Jatha haru - why not awareness campaing huh? Keep Childrens safe bahnera? Or shall we just focus on raising funds after the facts? Akhir je bhaye ni ghumdai firdai rumjhaltar ta ho. Tasa andhar bhudi niskeko pics and afno swartha pura gara. Ramro ekdam ramro.
